Library Rules & Regulations

• Library Card is compulsory for getting access to the library.
• Library Card is not transferable.
• Honours students can borrow 2 books (1 for 6 months and 1 for 15 days), General students can borrow 1 book (15 days) at a time.
• Books can be renewed for another 15 days, if required. A fine of Rs.1/- per day will be charged if books are not returned within due date.
• The time for returning the book: 10.30 A.M. – 2 P.M.
• Marksheet/Certificate of final examination will not be given without Library Clearance Certificate.
• For losing the Library Card Rs.25/- will be charged for duplicate card.
• If a book is lost, it should be replaced by purchasing the same book.
• Bags should be deposited at the property counter. No such items may be taken into the Reading Room.
• Put your signature in the Attendance Register while entering the library.
• Foods and drinks are prohibited inside the library.
• Library reading room should be utilized only for academic purposes.
• Mobiles should be turned to silent mode when entering the library.
• The Librarian has the power to suspend/exclude from the use of the library any user who disregards the library Rules and Regulations.
